Nov. 19, 2024 - Today Allegiant announced it would be adding new non-stop service from Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

Allegiant will offer the new service twice a week beginning Feb. 14, 2025. Allegiant has provided non-stop service from ROA to Sanford-Orlando and St. Petersburg-Clearwater since 2006.

“We are thrilled Allegiant will be expanding its very popular Florida service out of ROA to include Sarasota Bradenton – and just in time for spring break,” said Mike Stewart, Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport Executive Director. “This is great news for our region. We’re appreciative of our partners at Allegiant in recognizing the strength of our market and hope the flying public will come out and support this exciting new destination.”

Sarasota Bradenton is ROA’s ninth non-stop destination. Additional non-stop cities include Atlanta on Delta, Charlotte on American, Chicago on United, New York City (LGA) on American and Delta, Philadelphia on American, Sanford-Orlando on Allegiant, St. Petersburg-Clearwater on Allegiant, and Washington, D.C (Dulles) on United.
