Sept. 27: Second Southwest Virginia Plane Pull at ROA

The second Southwest Virginia Plane Pull will take place on Sept. 27, 2025 at Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport. The event will benefit Special Olympics Virginia.

Teams of 20-25 will come together to pull an 82-ton FedEx airplane a distance of 12 feet on the Airport's cargo apron. This year's event will also include a Kid Pull.
